Do you ever look back and see?

Wed Nov 18, 2009, 8:50 PM
Do you ever look back and see where you come from and realize where you are at the moment? I don't just mean this in the "Wow I've walked two blocks" sense, but in the sense of "progress".
My own ';progress' comes to my attention every once in a while in various forms, as it did the other day. I happened to be practicing guitar, and immediately after working on finishing some art projects for school. I just thought it weird looking at the picture I had just drew and realizing that It is not something I could have drawn maybe a year ago, or for that matter 6 months ago. The same applied to the guitar, as I was practicing a song I've been writing (well not really a song yet, but something I have been putting time into nonetheless) and came to the conclusion that I would not have been able to write something like this on the guitar a few months ago.
After those two 'dawns' of thought, I just pondered how ';progress' can just sneak up like that. Wierd, huh?
Anyway enough of the babbling. I have some interesting pictures to put up when I get the chance to scan them somewhere and put them up here, but who knows what that will be. Hope everyone has a Turkey or 'Tofurkey' day :D.

I can pulp your flesh and snap your bones in less than a second, and without so much as lifting a finger. What is the power of technology compared to that?
